MEET OUR LAB MEMBER

Welcome to GeoChemical Research Lab , University of Barishal

Purpose

The fundamental purpose of the Geochemical Research Lab BU is to advance scientific knowledge through the rigorous chemical analysis of Earth materials and systems. The lab's core function is to generate high-quality data that directly addresses critical regional challenges, from monitoring sediment quality and environmental contamination to supporting the sustainable management of geological and mineral resources. By fostering interdisciplinary research and training the next generation of scientists, the lab serves as a vital institution for translating complex geochemical processes into actionable insights for environmental stewardship and community safety.
